This is Dave Webber, one of our drivers based out of Southend. At the weekend, dave and nine other cyclists, cycled 52 miles from London to Southend to raise money for Tree of Hope, a charity which offers hope to families to transform the lives of sick children. Specifically, the team are raising money in aid of five-year-old Oscar who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and requires special treatment in the US.
The group, which was looking to raise £4,500, are so far up to £4,715.26 (17/7/19).
August 2019 Update – the team managed to raise £6,968.86!
Well done to all the team – especially Dave – that’s an amazing effort. You can follow their exploits – and donate – on their Just Giving Page.
